Description
In addition to having founded and led the law firm of Broad and Cassel, Mr. Broad helped to organize or establish a number of Florida Banks. His philanthropic efforts are reflected in New York Law School’s oldest scholarship fund—The Shepard Broad ‘27 Scholarship Fund. established in 1955—and the Shepard and Ruth K. Broad Student Center, as well as the Shepard Broad Law Center of Nova Southeastern University and the Shepard and Ruth Broad Center for the Performing Arts of Barry University.
