Description
Randolph E. Paul, Class of 1913, a Leading Member of the Firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison. After graduating from New York Law School in 1913, Randolph Paul went on to become a leading tax expert, serving as chief tax advisor to Treasury Secretary Henry Morgenthau Jr. and then as General Counsel of the Treasury in 1942. He joined with the firm of Cohen, Cole, Weiss & Wharton to form Paul, Weiss, Wharton & Garrison in 1946, which became Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison in 1950 with the addition of former U.S. District Judge Simon H. Rifkind.
