Description

As Chief Counsel to the Senate Committee on Banking and Currency in 1933, Ferdinand Pecora conducted the Senate hearings that eventually led to new federal legislation to regulate Wall Street, including the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. A former Alumni Association President, Justice Pecora received an Honorary Degree from NYLS on June 9th 1958.
