Abstract
Drafting estate and disability planning documents has four stages: information gathering, determination of an appropriate plan, document preparation and execution/ post-execution practice. Each stage deserves careful attention, and a lawyer will benefit from implementing standard procedures anμ checklists in connection with these stages. Of course, there is no substitute for careful, personalized attention to each client and document. This article considers each of these stages.
