Abstract
The following article continues ALB's comparative examination of the struggles of other indigenous peoples. Penelope Andrews places the Miskito Indian fight for autonomy within the historical and political context of the Sandinista revolution. Much can be learnt from the recent initiative of the Sandinista government in drafting the Autonomy Law which recognises the right of its indigneous peoples to self-determination
