Abstract

The New York Law School Center for New York City and State Law hosted a panel discussion about the challenges and possibilities of the gig economy in New York City; how the burgeoning field of app based labor has reshaped the job market, small business ecosystem, and public space; and how this expanding labor sector may evolve in the coming years.
