Abstract
On March 25, 2026, New York Law School's Center for New York City and State Law and The Plumeri Center for Small Business Empowerment’s Gig Economy Project hosted a discussion about driverless vehicles as New York explores the ramifications of a tectonic technological shift that would have major policy, legal, and social implications—including for the city’s streetscape, economy, labor force, and public safety.
